Fibromyalgia is a word that is getting more popular due to the amount of people its affecting. Some doctors don’t think fibromyalgia actually exists, but if you have been in practice long enough you soon realize it does exist.
I consider fibromyalgia a compilation of problems mixed together to get a varies of symptoms. I have had good success with patients that are willing to take my advice, and that differs from person to person. Lots of patients benefit from chiropractic care, especially the techniques that I use which incorporate slow gentle movements. I am not a chiropractic that just adjusts a patient and moves onto the next. I pride myself on the different programs I have in place to incorporate more than just the musculoskeletal part of the body. Patients need to be directed on what things to avoid, what things they should eat, what supplements they should take, what exercises to do or not do. Its always exciting to see patients transform. I do not prescribe medications to cover up the issues, instead we work hard to get to the core problems.
Dr. Barnes offers multiple treatment avenues to go down to help with fibromyalgia. The actual path is something the patient and Dr. Barnes decides because every patient is so unique. The cookie cutter treatment plans do not work well with fibromyalgia patients and Barnes Chiropractic is not an ordinary natural health care clinic.
